彩雲国物語, Saiunkoku Monogatari @ 9:53 AM

In love with this new anime I'm watching.

彩雲国物語 Saiunkoku Monogatari

It's basically a fictional mix of Japanese/Chinese history with the typical shoujo plot THEREFORE it contains heaps of names of made up imperial court, politics etcetc and none other than the "female trying to take the imperial exam" which of course was forbidden. Yeah, a bit of fake/real history is quite interesting from time to time, especially if the characters look prettayyee okayyy :)) Well, other than the plot that captured my attention, the opening song did also because it's so beautiful , esp. the instrumental sections that SCREAM ancient China :)

Hajimari No Kaze

and there's the Cantonese version by TVB Star Linda Chung, it actually sounds really nice since a lot of HK songs are :S. But then again, this song is Japanese :) Props to Linda Chung, love her voice.
